Baagchal Privacy Policy

About this policy

Baagchal is operated by Web Dev NC. This policy applies to the Baagchal Android app with package name com.webdevnc.baagchal.

You can play on one device without giving Web Dev NC your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details. The app may connect to Google to request and display ads. Information is also sent online when you choose private online play or Google Play Games rankings.

Information saved on your device

Baagchal stores the following information locally so the app can remember your choices and game progress:

• Sound and vibration settings.
• Your unfinished game and its move history.
• Game totals, wins, streaks, and other statistics.
• Up to 50 completed games, including replay moves.
• A reference to your most recent private online room.
• Your advertising consent choice and, when earned, the time until banners become visible again.

Game information stored locally is not sent to Web Dev NC unless it forms part of an online game or the win total you choose to submit to Google Play Games. Advertising consent choices may be processed by Google as described below.

Private online play

When you create or join a private online room, Baagchal creates an anonymous account through Supabase. You do not need to provide a name, email address, or password.

Supabase processes the anonymous account identifier, room code, room membership, chosen side, game status, current game state, move history, and room timestamps. It may also process limited connection, device, request, and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

Anyone with a valid room code may be able to join that room. Share the code only with the person you want to play.

Google Play Games rankings

If you choose to open the rankings feature, Google Play Games may process your Play Games identity, account and device information, and service activity under Google's Privacy Policy. Baagchal submits your total number of wins to its Google Play Games leaderboard.

Advertising and rewarded ads

Baagchal uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner ads. You may also choose to watch a rewarded ad to hide banner ads for 24 hours. Watching a rewarded ad is optional and is not required to play.

Google may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device and app information, ad interactions, consent choices, and signals used for ad delivery, measurement, frequency control, fraud prevention, and security. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region and consent choices. Google processes this information under Google's Privacy Policy and its advertising policies.

Where required, Baagchal asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads. If privacy choices are available for your region, you can reopen them from Settings > Privacy choices. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier through your Android device settings.

What Baagchal does not collect

Baagchal does not ask for your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, messages, or payment information. The current app does not include in-app purchases or a separate analytics or crash-reporting service. Google may process an approximate location derived from information such as your IP address for advertising and security purposes.

How information is used

• Save and resume games on your device.
• Show your statistics and completed-game replays.
• Create private rooms, connect invited players, and keep their game state in sync.
• Submit and display leaderboard rankings when you choose Google Play Games.
• Display and measure ads, grant the optional 24-hour banner-free reward, prevent advertising fraud, and remember privacy choices.
• Protect online play, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.

When information is shared

Web Dev NC does not sell or rent your information. Information is shared only as needed to provide app features and advertising:

• Supabase: anonymous sign-in, database storage, and real-time private-room updates. Read Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Games: optional sign-in and leaderboard rankings. Read Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: consent management, banner and rewarded ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services. Read Google's Privacy Policy.
• Legal and safety reasons: when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the app, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

Retention and deletion

You can clear local statistics and completed games from Settings. Clearing Baagchal's app data or uninstalling the app also removes information stored only on that device.

Use Delete Online Play Data in Settings to delete your anonymous online account. This also deletes private rooms you started and removes your anonymous membership from rooms you joined. A room started by another player may remain, but it will no longer contain your deleted account identifier.

Follow the Baagchal account deletion instructions to delete your account in the app or send a request if you cannot use the app. Because online accounts are anonymous, we may need limited information such as a room code to locate the correct record, and we may be unable to identify it without enough verification. Do not email passwords, access keys, or private credentials.

Google controls retention and deletion of Google Play Games and advertising information. You can manage that information through your Google account, Play Games settings, Android privacy settings, and Google's privacy controls.

Security and international processing

Online game data is sent over encrypted connections. Database access rules limit private-room records to the anonymous accounts participating in that room. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Supabase and Google may process information in countries outside your own, subject to their privacy policies and legal safeguards.

Children's privacy

Baagchal does not ask for a player's age, name, email address, or phone number. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information through the app or a support request, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Baagchal's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
