Get the phone and receiver talking.

LumaLink requires the Android sender and the companion receiver. Start with the connection, then check the camera client.

01

Install both sides

Install the APK matching the Android device. Windows SmartScreen may warn because the beta installer is unsigned. Debian users can open the downloaded package with their normal installer.

02

Choose USB or Wi-Fi

For Wi-Fi, keep both devices on the same local network. For USB, use a data-capable cable, unlock Android, and approve the computer on the phone.

03

Follow the receiver

Open the receiver, choose the connection method, and use the pairing details it shows. Do not share a pairing token outside your local session.

04

Check the target app

Confirm video advances in the receiver first. Windows currently provides receiver preview, not a system virtual camera. Linux virtual-camera output requires v4l2loopback.

Still stuck?

Send the details that help us reproduce it.

Include the Android model and version, computer operating system, whether you used USB or Wi-Fi, the receiver version, and what happened immediately before the problem.
